Francisco Marty, Attorney at Law
Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Marty worked for over twenty years within the criminal court system, in a broad range of capacities. This experience gives him in-depth knowledge of many aspects of the criminal justice system, from initial investigation all the way through to the judicial process. As an attorney, Mr. Marty has focused exclusively on criminal issues. He has successfully represented defendants in both state and federal cases involving white collar, narcotics and racketeering charges, and has been extensively involved in cases related to Medicare and Medicaid Fraud. In addition, Mr. Marty has represented defendants summoned to appear before the Federal Grand Jury as both targets and witnesses.
Mr. Marty has been a guess speaker to Med-Trust seminars, a leading association of Durable Medical Equipment Companies. In addition, he has appeared on the ComCast Spanish television show "Prisma" discussing current issues associated with Medicare and Medicaid fraud. Mr. Marty earned his Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad Law Center, in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (with a Minor in Criminal Justice) from Florida International University in Miami; and his Associate of Arts Degree from Miami-Dade Community College in Miami.
